Poken has hired me to work on a great new application for the Nokia C7.

October 2. 2010: Free Qt and CMake example launched. [hide]

It's hard to find a good Qt application built to document good practices - the Qt examples are small and built to highlight a single feature. And it's equally hard to find a good example Qt and CMake together. I created the FSEditor to show how I think it should be done. The editor itself is almost useless, the focus is entirely on architecture instead of application logic. See more about this project on the FSEditor page.

September 20. 2010: Working for Saxo Bank. [hide]

I have been hired by Saxo Bank to work on their online trade systems. My work here will be on the server side and will have to be of the highest quality.

September 6. 2010: Qt Blog started. [hide]

There are so many small bits of advise I give to customers all the time. I have started a new blog to share many of these with other people interested in Qt development. The blog is called "Spells from the Qt Wizard" and I'll show many of the tricks a professional Qt consultant use. I will also give advise on how to implement things, debugging, architecture and a lot of other issues. But it's all Qt. You can find the blog here: The Qt blog.

I have launched my new company Fionia Software which will focus on offering Qt based consulting services. I ran the Qt consulting company Thorsen Consulting for many years so I am no stranger to this business or the community around it.
