Contract Terms

The first question I get is always: What is the price. On this page, you will find the general terms I want when taking a contract. However, everything is open for discussion, especially with longer contracts.

My hourly rate is 75 Euros or 95 USD. I trust you will find this extremely competitive compared to other world class Qt consultants. Sometimes this even compares well with your own employees, considering the total cost of employment.

Should you want me to travel as part of the project, the hourly rate for this work will be an additional 10 percent plus all travel and accomodation expenses. All time spent travelling is billed as consulting time. It is completely normal for me to work completely off site, but sometimes I travel to work on-site during the early phase of a project, and sometimes at the end of a project.

I have my own computers with recent versions of Windows and Linux. If I need special software or hardware for the project, you must supply this to me, and all setup time is of course billed.

I send out invoices every two weeks, and payment time is 7 days. If a payment date is not kept, I immediately stop working on the project until it has been paid.

All contracts will have more terms, but these cover most of my requests for the contract negotiations. And again, I'm open to discussion on everything. Give me a call, and let's talk about it.
